Hi,
I tried fruit dieting.
For one week, I ate only fresh fruits and water.
In the morning, I will drink 2 glasses of water, then after an hour, I will have my breakfast of fresh fruits (any fruit of your choice)> I only eat one kind of fruit each meal.
Kung ang makabusog sa iyo ay 10 saging or 5 apples for breakfast, yun ang kainin mo.
Then kung in between meals, magutom ka, just drink more water or eat more fruits.
Remember this:
*Only raw or fresh fruits, dili ang canned or preserved.
*Sa period of FRUIT dieting, no other drinks but water. No coffee, milk, canned or instant juices, softdrinks and any cooked food, with sugar or even salt. Just FRESH FRUITS AS MUCH AS YOU NEED TO FILL YOU UP.
Result: Mawawala ang iyong ulcer, madedetoxify ka pa at mag lose weight ka. On the second or third day, you will notice na and iyong urine ay colorless like water. You will also feel na parang mapait ang panlasa mo and that is because nasa process and iyong body ng pag-eliminate ng toxins and unwanted fats sa iyong body.
I've done it myself and it cured me of my ulcer.
i would presume we are talking about stomach (gastric/peptic ulcers) &/or intestinal (doudenal ulcers)...
these can only be seen through endoscopy and testing for the bacteria H.pylori is usually done with this procedure. if they do occur, antibiotics & antacids or acid controlling drugs are given....
otherwise, it might just be a case of hyperacidity or dyspepsia. like clockwork, a certain amount of acid is secreted by the stomach cells to supposedly aid in the digestion of the food we eat. the acid stays within the stomach when eating skeds are irregular. the act of ingesting food & the actual entry of food in the mouth trigger the body's system to release acid to anticipate the presence of food within the stomach; augmenting the remaining volume of retained acid. when in excess, some of the acid escapes upwards to the esophageal area and a sensation of "burning" pain is felt near where the stomach lies (epigastric area) or at the left chest wall... this explains why food partially relieves epigastric pain and why the pain recurs after a certain time.
it is advisable not to eat FULL melas after a skipped meal: small frequent feedings with nonfatty bland meals. shy away from caffeine containing drinks (colas, coffee), alcohol-containing beverages, smoking, citrus fruits, spiced-up dishes and fatty meals. medications available neutralize the acid (antacids), regulate the acid secretion (H2blockers & proton pump inhibitors) or aid in the competence of the gastro-intestinal tract's protective lining (rebamipide & prostaglandin agonists).
i still need to explore the logic behind fruit dieting in gastric/doudenal ulcer management.
is there any truth about drinking milk to neutralise the acidity in the stomach?
I got ulcer as early as 5 yrs old. kung g.atake I remember drinking a white liquid med (Maalox man cguro to, I think)
milk is acidic... it worsens the pain related to hyperacidity & stomach ulcersOriginally Posted by Angelo937
