Finally!!! Nikon d7000 launched

Chase updated his blog and added a link to a SOC images (dunno if true) but maybe worth a look:

and they're bloody freaking huge! It took 2.30 minutes for the first image to load on a 4Mbs connection! The file is around 10MB. From his blog he said these are straight native JPEG files and the only processing made was

"This file was opened in Nikon Capture NX where we turned off the Active D Lighting, no other changes were made"

with the specs you are having i think it is a reasonable price..

Anyways, Oct. 29th is the expected release date. Could be a full month before it hits the shelves locally.
