i remember reading an article sa reader's digest, karaan kaayo nga issue, wherein the author (a guy) was complaining of the same thing you said.

when he consulted a doctor, ana ang doctor kay ang problem lang ato sa iyaha daw kay huot ra kaayo ang collar sa iyang shirt. meaning, everytime mu lingi cya, it would be like giving himself a karate chop to his neck. kay na huot ang artery or vein, cant really remember which, nga padung sa iyang brain, causing him to feel dizzy.
