Per experience, we did not get one and our event went smoothly. We availed of a hassle-free commercial hotel wedding package so we didn't have to coordinate personally with multiple suppliers re: cards, souvenirs, flowers, transportation, rooms, cake, food, decoration, photo and video coverage, etc. We only had one point person who was the assigned hotel staff. Any requests or issues we had were coursed through the hotel.

At church, you could just ask one of your relatives or close friends to oversee the minor details for you (processional march, candles and lighter) as there is also an assigned lay minister who will guide you on where you should sit or what you should do during the wedding rites. We selected a church whose fees already included floral decor and a very good choir.

Our main legwork was just on the papers and seminars, and our attire (because we had ours custom-made). We didn't have any regrets at all for not getting a wedding coordinator. Dako pa mi ug na-save and we didn't experience the usual headaches of couples who paid so much... only to be disappointed by services that were overpromised yet under-delivered.

Imbitado mi ani kay motabang kog Organize. Need someone to Sing the songs you want on that day? Male or Female? Naa koy kaila. I can do the singing too. Advance Best Wishes diay. hehehe

Bitaw if you have friends who can help you out then go for it. Ana man gud ni Sis, when you're paying someone, you are expecting something in return. It happen to my Friend's wedding. Ni corrupt ang memory sa cam, resulta...hurot ang pictures. Bisan mobayad pa ang Coordinator--can't have the picture back. Maau nalng naay extra cam.

Saving is just a Plus --What matters most is, the Heart of Doing it during the preparations. Coordinators are advisable if rushing na jud. But if naa kay longer time --- mas memorable if close friends had do their share.
Friendly message ra na ha. Dont take seriously.

share lang nako akong experience during sa akong wedding preparation... wala kaau ko kaila nga suppliers back then, even though naka-assist nako ug wedding coordinations here and there, kay dili man kaau ko mangutana kung kinsa ang suppliers... hehe anyways, i just did my research. Basa ug bridal magazines, check sa internet, ngita ug mga ideas nga maka-save... in the end, my hubby and i had a wonderful wedding just like we wanted it to be at the cost of P160k and mind you, we had it at AMARA ... that's why i'm so proud of that project coz they thought nga daku kaau ko ug budget... okay2x... it could have reached mga P200k if i had to pay my on-the-day coordinator, if had to buy a new pair of wedding rings (nag-civil wedding naman mi) and other little things...

but other than that, if you really want to save up on your wedding budget, you have to do the work. But if dili ka ganahan mu-handle sa preparation, be ready to shell out a significant budget jud... ana lang...

so, good luck on your decision making chinita...

one more advice, determine kung unsa jud ganahan nimo para sa imong wedding day... like the details and all... para ma-guided ka sa mga kuha-on nimo nga suppliers... kay basin matintal ka here and there sa mga new ideas ang tendency kay napa-mahal na nuon ka... hehe
