7 Ambassadors visits Mayor Jonas Cortes & Mandaue City for it's Charter Day

i was also told that the working committee of Taga Mandaue Inc. at city hall will send out 65 invitations to the different embassies ... 40 ambassadors have expressed their interest to attend ...

Just an update about the visit of the 7 ambassadors..... they are all willing to sign "sister city and sister province agreement with Mandaue and the Cebu province. Imagine ang 7 gyud ka countries and ni commit. Sige daw beh....kinsa man nga syudad maka lupig ana.

...and about Mandaue City, it has improved its image a whole lot since Mayor Jonas took over.. I've said it before & I'll say it again, the problems of my city, created & mismanaged by the previous administration for 2 decades can't simply be undone in two terms ni Mayor Jonas.. give him more time to be the mayor & you will see wonders for mandaue.. we were known then as the biggest Shabu Lab in southeast asia, the lamppost controversy still hangs over our heads, the 30% upfront cash incentive for anybody who wants to put up a business in Mandaue.. I was so ashamed to be called a mandauehanon then.. Mayor Jonas changed that.. imagine 7 ambassadors came to my hometown despite the recent Quirino Grandstand hostage fiasco.. that speaks volumes of what he has accomplished..

I'm not hysterical bro.. nagkatawa pa gani ko sa imo gi post.. hehehe the problem is not me.. it's you! you already are prejudiced about politicians that you already stereotype everyone as the same.. believe me when I say Mayor Jonas is an honest & a genuine public servant.. you can't question his integrity.. he has made his father, the late Demetrio "Boy" Cortes, & all mandauehanons proud again of their hometown..

Lagi bai as I said, I was only basing it on my observation, wala ko ni-ingon nga expert ko sa mandaue, i don't even live in mandaue though I work there.. and the route from my home to my work is short, so admitar ko nga dili ko suweto sa tibuok nga mandaue. Kung moingon mo nga dako ang improvement, mosalig lang ko ninyo. Di sad ka kaingon nga sayop ko sa pag-stereotype sa atong pols kai halos tanan nila dii man jud maayo.. inya tapos 10+ tuig under ni ouano, natural raman nga skeptical ang tao... labi na kung wala jud ko kakita sa improvements, again gibase ni sa akoang experience lang... maybe one of these days i'll go around the whole mandaue and see for myself.
