DepEd warns vs. classes on holidays

ALTHOUGH Sept. 9 and 10 have been declared as non-working days, make-up classes may prevent students from enjoying the holidays.

That’s why Department of Education (DepEd) 7 Director Recaredo Borgonia said holding make-up classes on holidays is not encouraged.

“We are encouraging teachers to hold make-up classes on Saturdays and not on holidays.

Holidays are declared for a purpose. Holding classes on those days defeats that purpose,” he said in a phone interview.

mao!!! karong september diba daghan intramurals? wala na pud klase ana! hahay! akong girl... late na makauli kay practice kuno sa majorette nila. akong boy sige na ug practice sa iyang sport na apilan sa intrams! hahay!

mas nindot kng ma improve nila ang quality sa ilang klase, dli kay mag cgeg klase2 nya balik2 ra nga teaching methods. pol-an pd ang studyante ana. mao na mo ingon ang studyante, boring ang klase.
