One of the discussion during the Ambassadors courtesy call to the Mayor was to identify projects of the City where these other countries can assist through funding or any other means possible. Another thing that we can look forward to is Ambassador Wadee Al-Batti of Iraq to facilitate the lifting of the travel band to their country. As what he emphasized they need A LOT of FILIPINO WORKERS since they are in stage of rebuilding their economy.
"Iturbe said that Venezuela, one of the oil-producing countries in the world, has trade agreements with the Philippines, which they want to expand."
kanindot ani na news ... solution sa economy..unemployment...
they need filipino workers ... ug kini dunay dako nga maikatabang sa mandaue, cebu ug pilipinas as a whole.
despite the internationl fiasco that was Quirino hostage massacre, it is a sigh of relief to know Mandaue city still hasn't lost the trust of the international community.. you could even say that Mandaue City in its own little way saved the Philippines' face in the worldwide arena.. congratulations to Mayor Jonas for being an unselfish & benevolent leader!!...
now if only Luigi Quisumbing would follow suit & push for our lone seat in congress.. wouldn't that be icing on the cake??
