@ TS: i understand your concern now.... dili ka ganhan but-an... nganu pugson man gyud ka sul-ob sapatos mag motor? daun multahan daun if dili musunod, diba? its not the safety aspect that you are against but its the idea of someone dictating on how you live your life, right? Ang best solution ana bai, balhin ka sa moon.... o undiscovered island... basta somewhere na walay gobyerno.... tinoud sad baya na imung concerns bai... pero does it really demean your life so much to follow a simple rule?

well, it's really ur choice man if musunod ka or dili. Agree ko sa point na safety is a non-debateable issue.

Pero just to address all the pips: need pa ba ug balaod para lang musul.ob ug helmet para lang malikayan ang possibleng aksidente? Daghan na nangamatay maski naa pay helmet, unsa pa kaha wala. Ang uban i-take for granted lng na, sus samot nang kanang mga pasikat diha na pasagirit ug padagan na way helmetay.. simbako lang.

With regards to the said law, ako sa ni i-search kay based sa mga comments sa mga tao, naa juy mga maka-isag kilay na mga detalye...

it's easy ra man ts, if you don't want to follow the rules, that's up to you. you can always go live in another place which doesn't have them.

I'm for the mandatory wearing of helmets helmets pero I'm against the dress code. Obviously, the purpose of this is to thwart mga backriders nga tulisan / assasins.

Ang mahitabo ani kay ang mga robbers and killers kay naka tint na nga helmet to cover their faces then naka sapatos na and pants.... decente na ang mga kawatan..

If dili ka ani nga law... then there should also be a law to absolve partial liability of motorists who get into accidents with motorcycle riders not wearing helmets.

If example I accidentally hit you with my car, I shouldn't be made to pay for head injuries resulting from you not wearing your helmet.

The law isn't just for your safety... its also for other motorists as well...

Pero law or no law... you should wear helmet for your own protection... if gahi gyud ka ug ulo then they shouldn't let motorists pay for head injuries in accidents involving motorcycle riders not wearing their helmet.

this particular law curtails my personal freedom of choice. can you not see it people?

I think this is the biggest issue of people who do not want to live in a world of rules. Please do not forget that FREEDOM is not ABSOLUTE. And a world/society without rules/laws is in a state of anarchy. You cannot choose when accidents happen...so you cannot choose when to use a helmet. True...helmets do not prevent deaths in every single accident, but it sure does increase your chances of living! And the mere chance of surviving a road accident is more than enough to compensate for the cost of a helmet.

this law penalizes everyone who choose to wear sandals instead of shoes.... 1500 pesos, ngano man?

    ako lay tubag ani:

because the chances of having your slippers/sandals fall off or, at the very least, ma-out of place, is possible and could greatly affect your focus in driving/maneuvering your motorcycle. And please remember that your RIGHT to choose (not FREEDOM) ends where another person's RIGHT begins. The pedestrians, whose lives will be put at risk, all have the RIGHT to live!
