These rally cars are expected to be thirsty technically, power is directly proportional to fuel consumption. If you are a fuel conscious, go for the 2.0L M/T hatch, its lighter and should be more economical than the turbo models. Remember these cars are fun to drive, fun to REV, fun to turn corner, in short "it'll be fun to burn fuel".... good luck! hehe

when buying performance cars or big SUVs you don't ask for the gas consumption - you just buy the car. that's what i learned.

like when my wife and i browsing for a family car at a dealer within our town we came across with this H-2 (yes not a family car) and asked the salesman how much gas this monster eats? the salesman answered me with a smile "buyers don't bother how much gas this beast eats, they just ride it"... from that moment i did not ask for gas consumption - i just researched it myself.
