yes taga dumaguete ko and i apologize if my thread has offended the sensibilities of other istoryans.

those of you who resort to name calling, i forgive you. peace lang ta diri. i was not looking for war. i have been to real wars most of you just enjoyed watching on cnn.

i fought for freedom. i have been shot at. i have enough blood in my hands. i already have enough nightmares to keep me awake most nights. so please...

this thread is not about safety when riding motorcycles. i do not want to debate that. safety is never debatable.

my sentiments in this thread is about FREEDOM of choice...and it is not much i am asking.

i wear shorts, slippers, sunglass, and tshirt when riding my motorcycle when i am home in dumaguete.

according to this law, doing just that will get me fined for 1500 for the slippers, 1500 for the shorts, and another 1500 for the tshirt....and 1500 for the lack of helmet.

you will only understand all these if you come to visit dumaguete. ill be home before year end.. all those who wants to meet... ill be happy to see u there.

OT: TS, apil sa law ang dili pwede mag shorts tsinelas ug tshirt that my man is f*cking BS...i understand sa helmet part, but this? y man? i dont see any relevance in terms to safety kung mag slippers ka, or mag t shirt ka? nya nsa naman lang, mag polo nalang ta ani? that is TOO MUCH!

after knowing that the TS is from dmgte..i now understand his sentiments...wa gyd na uso ang helmet dd2..duol ra kaau mga lugar dd2 gd..the city is just small..more like 1 straight road ra nya mao na na ang downtown..if sa city ra ka mag drive2, ok ra gyd walay helmet coz d mn sd ka kapa kusog gyd ky ang road gamay ra..hehe

sayop lang ug pangayo ug sympathy ang TS ky dri sa istorya.net which is a cebu based forum..and cebu has been implementing the helmet law dugay na kaayo..and by this time, mga cebuano, naka sabot gyd sa importance sa helmet..

sa dmgte, d gyd maka sabot ky tungod sa ka gamay sa city, we feel nga no need na ang helmet didto..my house there going to the city is a 5-10 mins ride..perte ra ka duol gyd and dili pariha dri sa cebu ang mga public transpo..walay jeep dd2, walay taxi..ang kontra nimo sa road ky tricycle nga perte rasad ka hinay ma apsan ra ug dagan

anyway, since passed na ni nga law, wala mahems mga taga dmgte but to follow, hoping that few years from now, maka sabot na ang peeps dd2 nga importante sd ang helmet...
