Now the question is, will photographers allow contests that "photo-farm" to continue what they do or do we become vigilant and tell them that we also have rights?
What about exposing your work? there are a number of ways. And allowing a company to earn while you sit and twiddle your thumbs asking yourself "why you can't use your photos anymore?" is definitely not the way.
One is that many simply do not know. They would think it's so cool to get your photo placed somewhere. So it's up to us... the people who know to educate our fellow shutterbugs.
Second is that these companies should realize what they'll be getting. Probably a lot of great photos but also probably not the photos they really needed that would make a statement about the company, their service or their product.
By the way, also about photographer's rights in terms of privacy and the freedom to shoot...
