kung cebu lang imo pasabot,halos wala man gani subcon dha..nakipagtie-up rana cla sa manila-based subcons brod (saq,cw and TI)..saudi? naa didto pero dili na parehas kadaghan sauna.. sa telecom brod, worldwide ang market even US and Europe depende saimo expertise (RF,TRM planning, Opti, TI, Core etc.)..

I don't know what happened to electronics. We're supposed to design, develop, create systems and product that are low voltage. What happens now we are shifting to IT or communications. It's because of the government. The government made this ECE word, it's not even recognized around the world. If you want to be an ECE, stay in the Philippines, because your power only effects here. But if you really want to be an Electronics Engineer, you have to create or at least help develop something that needs low voltage. Knowing how to operate routers, open cabinets, survey sites is not an electronic thing. For me, it's all or nothing. It's also really hard to be hired as an ECE because it's not a really critical job, like Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineer where a simple mistake can cause lives. Also Industrial or Chemical Engineer where there are lots of hiring in newspapers locally. ECE and CompE is a joke here in this country. They hire ECE's here to be Sales Engineer or Technical Staff, etc. ECE's here is a broad field, not specific to something.

The purpose of Phil govt why we have ECE and CompE is NOT for Pinas only. Halos tanan curso sa pilipinas dili kaayu magamit if sa pilipinas ra ka kay wala kaayu industry na mu hire nimu related sa imu korso, nganu naa man ta ana nga mga korso? kay ang toyo sa gobyerno para mahimong competitive ang Pinoy GLOBALLY. tan awa unsay mga trabaho sa mga ECE compE sa lain nasud? Di ba naa sa ila Field? di ba dagko sweldo kasagaran?

Kung wala pa ga offer ug ECE ug compE ang mga University sa Pinas, naa kahay ma hire programmer na pinoy ngadto sa US or lain country? naa kaha ma hire pinoy engr sa mga Semicon company sa US? WALA... kay diploma tawn pangitaon ana ig apply nimu.

like me hilig ko ug robotics and automation, maong either instrumentation or software development for microprocessors
