Pasensiya na pero skeptical jud ko aning mga hipnotize2x. Kaning mga kawatan ug mangingilad, maro bya na sila. Di pud na sila pataka ug pambiktima. Ila pud na gitun-an ilang biktimahonon. Just like any predator in the wild, kaning mga tawhana will strike at you when you are at your weakest, when you are disoriented, or when you are preoccupied. Just like a magician using sleight of hand, you get distracted by one hand while th my the other does the trick. As what my investigator friend also stated, that victims of these incidents have been distracted and deceived, that they feel embarassed of being a victim of such a modus, that they will resort to saying that they were put under some spell, aka hypnotized. This modus is very old school but there are still people who fall prey to it.

Here is one modus, in which the TS was almost a victim of. This happened to my roomate and a classmate on separate events outside USC TC, in broad daylight. One guy goes near you and asks you: "Do you know this guy in the picture?" If you converse with him, he will try to convince you that people said or he saw you as the person who was last seen with him. You walk together casually talking, and then a second guy joins your conversation. Either guy then hang his arm over your shoulder as if you were old friends while pressing your side with a gun or a knife. So the three of you are walking like old pals, but these 2 guys are already telling you things like: "Ayaw ug saba kung di ka ganahan ma buslot imong kilid." or "Ayaw pag huna2x na mudagan ka kay naa mi kauban gaatang adto sa unahan." "Hubuo na imo alahas, ambi imo kwarta etc." When they have robbed you already, they will tell you to walk straight ahead and don't look back, or shout for help because they have back up who will shoot you if you disobey them. Do as they say, because these guys do have back-up. They will then be joined by one or 2 guys more who will pick them up with a motorcycle as their get away.

Dagdag Barya gang: There are 3 to 5 people in this group. They all enter a jeep, with one of them acting weird, as if drunk or lethargic, or acting sick like coughing. This person draws the attention of all the other passengers. When this person pays, he drops his coins on the ground, 2 of his other companions pick up the coins and brush of other passengers legs just to get the coins. The other guys behind the scenes will be pick pocketing their target passenger. If mupalag sab ang passenger, they either carry knives ice picks or even a gun, so don't try to be a hero.

What to watch out for:
- Group of guys rarely with a woman
- Tattoos concealed by a labakara or bandage (tattoos which mark a group member are concealed by these types of men, because they are easy to remember)
- Large but seemingly empty bags carried by these people (this is where they will stash the loot)
- These people act sleepy, so they will be bowing their heads to conceal their faces, what gives them away are their eyes...Pasiplat gani na siya ug tinanawan dako ug chance na tulisan na or kawatan (they will try to cover their face, they will act sleepy as if aloof but they are really observing the status quo of the passengers)
- These people, contrary to popular belief, are not yagit, they dress up clean.(to throw away suspicion)
- People you don't know who start a weird conversation (this person is usually the distractor)
