for example kanang magpatupi ko nya nka uyon ko sa tinupihan i give out tip sa barbero. ..
what makes giving tips annoying is that people are expecting to be given tip all the time... true, we reward people for good service... but at the same time, we give them the expectation that they deserve the tips all the time... If customer A gives bigger tip than customer B, most probably personnel C will give more attention or give more favors to customer A... We are actually "enculturating" people to be discerning and classifying with the service they are going to render... Have you noticed that when you forgot to give tip to a barber/waiter, the next time you meet him again, you get lousy service? maybe not true to all but there are indeed some cases.... Now, giving tips also promotes prejudice with some people... Waiter A may not render quality service to a Class C/D customer compared to a customer A/B knowing that customer A/B will most likely leave a tip.... Can we judge these personnel? Nope, since the tips are also helping their income...but there are other effects that go with giving tips...
