Answer: The hint is Newton's Third Law. The safe will BARELY move, because it has a larger mass than the man. The man therefore, will be launched in the opposite direction when he pushes. The effect would be similar to a man in space pushing against a wall of a space station--the reason he can push against that wall is because the wall is attached to a space station, and that space station is many times heavier than the man. Similarly, if the man pushes against the safe, he will move away, and the safe will still move, though barely, because it has more MASS.
Now if you apply this knowledge to Gundam-like robots in space, you'll now understand it better why it's a nightmare to calculate its movements (whether rotation or translation) in space.
