for shopping on gadgets you can go to the New Shanghai located in the middle of Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone in the middle of Pudong. Shopping streets include Huaihai Rd, Middle Tibet Road, North Sichuan Road and Nanjing Road.

Tip: When haggling offer the least possible price you can think of. Items in China are cheap but when they know you are a foreigner they will offer you a very huge price. Bought my pair of knee length boots for 100 yuan (around 600 pesos) when in fact the price she first told me was 689 yuan (nearly 4K pesos).
