How big is your music library? if you have a lot of songs, and I mean a lot. The 80 GB is a real deal. It is kinda bulky though. Especially if you like to listen to it while doing some physical activity. The Nano doesn't have much storage but is smaller, easier to carry and comes in different colors. The screen however is way too small to really enjoy videos. My 80 GB is usually docked on a speaker or I carry it with me while waiting in line. My Nano I mainly use while Im at the gym or jogging. I've tried the itouch. I was tempted to get this instead of the classic but i had to think about space rather than novelty.
...Long story short, the 80 GB gives you the most bang for your buck.

im having problems with my ipod 3rd gen. 4gb, magload unta ko mga songs then suddenly ni freeze ako ipod dili na ma palung cge lang display "do not disconnect".. can you help me out guys....

came from zune 30gb... now! 80gb ipod classic user... good that there is a thread about this... daghan diay kaayo mga sweto dire... stil currently converting 100 movies for ipod filetype...

a quick question because i haven't tried transferring videos to my ipod yet... but when i was a zune user especially transferring videos its pretty much irritating because how the zune works is if the folder that your syncing your music and videos... if after you're done syncing all those things... then you thought of deleting the videos from your pc para maka save kag space sa imong hd (by the way thats my reason why purchased my ipod in the first place)... by the next time you connect your zune to your pc... if wala nato ang video na naa sa imong pc ang zune pud kay yahang sang i-delete sa zune...pero there is a remedy for that but my point is... i hope it doesnt happen in the IPODS kay mao gani ni palit kog dako ug mem capacity para tanang videos/movies naa lang sa ipod then tang2x-on lang nako dayon sa HD sa pc

hi guys...got a question, im an ipod n00b. i jus bought a 3rd gen ipod nano na 4gb. wen i plugged it, it says i need to update the software version. do i reli have to? new software version is 1.1.2 daw.

yes, its recommended to update your ipods firmware. to fix glitches and bugs. it wont hurt.

mangutana unta ko mga ipod experts... 3days pako ga kupot ani akong ipod... zune user mangud ko previously... kaning itunes bah especially mag sync kag video... then after na copy na nimo sa IPOD... plano ta nako i delete ang video file para gani maka conserve tag space sa HD sa pc... pero everytime i connect nako balik ang IPOD... mangita naman siya ana na file? naay remedy ani... sa zune mangud kay imong lang i reset yahang sync relationship then before nimo irestablish ang sync sa zune ug pc imo lang idelete ang video daan... so inig resync sa zune ug pc... whether ang video wala na sa pc HD pero dlili idelete sa zune ang video? pwede ba ni sa itunes?

Bro, mangita tingali ang iTunes pero dili ang imo iPod? Kay sa library sa imo iTunes naa pa man to nga file dayon wala na sa imo drive. Pero ang sa iPod nakopya na to.

hello istoryans, needed you help/advice badly

unit: iPod Classic 80GB

problem: white screen nalang ang ni show with a battery meter, a check sign and "OK to disconnect." below. I tried connecting it to a desktop PC and with the latest itunes and it detected that the unit is in recovery mode and advised to restore it before it can be used with itunes. When I attempted it to restore, an unknown error "-23" showed, i have done the troubleshooting but still cant access/use my ipod.

have you encountered this problem? please help on how to overcome this or where should I ask for help regarding this problem?

hahaha problem solved, haaayyy naka disk mode ra diay to, hehe sorry noob here, after research, this video helped me ---> YouTube - How to force into disk mode.
