There's news with the upcoming DDR4 memory here: DDR4: What we can Expect | bit-tech.net

What i really like about this is 1 DIMM pero channel! thats awesome. Frequencies are also stated to start at 2.1Ghz up to 4.2Ghz

No world yet on latencies though.

What's not so hot is the increase in voltages. The article states that they're well acceptable for the performance increase though.

These aren't expected to hit mainstream until 2015.

@ts nice find brad..we're kinda hoping they will release this a bit earlier though or perhaps when bulldozer and hd6000 arrives in the market..it will be pretty tasty then for the gamers..yeahhhhh.....

@powermove: what i mean is kana standard memory size ba like sa mga DDR2 and DDR3 karun sa market na tag 1GB og 2GB ra. kato G.Skill kay mahal2x naman to. mayta mga DDR4 kay mag start sa size na 4GB-8GB kay kung tag 1GB - 2GB japun ang naa sa mga PC store kuwang ang pagka new technology niya kay ang memory size/capacity mao raman japun.

pareha sa DDR1 to DDR2 ba, 128MB - 1GB DDR1 unya 512MB - 2GB DDR2, sa DDR3 1GB - 2GB raman gud. Much better unta mudako ang capacity kay kuwang ang 2*2GB gud hehe. unya sa mga users na 2 DIMM slots ra ang mobo maka 8GB sila sa 2*4GB na RAM instead of 2*2GB.

oh ok... lol. my bad, ala ko kasabot dayon dah. :P yea, I hope bitaw saka na ila standard sa memory capacity, am pretty sure mo mainstream na ang tag 4gb/8gb per stick by 2015. lol, thats if maka abot pa ta ana hapit na ra ba ang 2012, ka palit na mo ticket para china?

Sure ko ani..pag mo gawas na..naa nasad mag mahay...sa mga enthusiast diri bwahahahahaha...kay DDR4 nasad ang pason...then ang board ma ilisan nasad....mag atang nalang ta ani sa B&S para atong ma palit sa saktong presyo hehehehe
