make sure to balance your investment with your income protection. Dili maayo kung puro lang ka investment ug wala sad kay pang bayad estate tax. Balance your insurance and investments.

I myself is interested on how this works.. thanks daan amigo.
Investing in Mutual Funds and putting your money in the bank is similar.

    Mao ni ang mga differences:

    1. Interest Rate
Banks - Less than 1% (Ordinary savings account sa mga top banks).
More than 1% (Time Deposit. Bigger deposit, bigger interest rate. No equality).

Mutual Funds - 8% - 12% minimum (If long term). Long term meaning more than 5 years.
There is equality. Meaning if the funds earn 20%. All investors earn 20%.

    2. Business
    Banks - Lending Business.

    Mutual Funds - Stocks.

    Philippine Stock Exchange

Recommended MF are First Metro (FAMI) or PhilAm Asset Management (PAMI).
Visit IMG office for more queries. Look for Mr. Emerson Uy, or me.

    3 Type of MF
    1.) Stock/Equity Fund ( Invested In stocks) = More Volatile / Aggressive
2.) Balance Fund ( Combination of Stock Fund and Bond Fund)
3.) Bond Fund (Invested in Governement Securities) = Less Volatile / Conservative

Sayanga bro, may pag ni palit ka kay barato kaayo ang prices ato na time. Dapat you should know how to maximize Mutual Funds returns even crises or no crises. Just take a look at this

Be Certain In Uncertain Time <-- You must become more certain in the uncertain time.
The 3 senarios are the combinations in money market. This knowledge is worth millions but I just share it for free at least the public will know how MF works. Bisan asa ka ani na senarioes, maka gain gihapon ka that is why I'm not afraid to invest during Crises("Be fearful when others are greedy, Be Greedy when others are fearful." - Warren Buffet). Sure ko daghan nag mahay na ila gi redeem ilang PhilAm katong pag down sa Economy, dapat ni palit jud ug shares ato na time, tanawa ron, ni balik ra nag saka ang market. Tanawa ang history sa PAMI katong pag crash sa market ang price kay around Php 200/share, karon kay around Php400/share, In two years lang ni double na imung investment.

senario 3 is global financial crises but your can still make money even though the Share price didn't go back to its original price. It is good to use cost-averaging technique because walay maayong laki makatag.an sa price on the next day or next week.

Technique in Investing in mutual funds you must accumulate shares not timing2x. You can buy more shares when the price go down.

Take note of this : "There is a opportunity in every crises. Money can work for you if you wish."

An investor is not a gambler, an investor has discipline, consistency and patience and he knows time is his ally in buidling his equity. An investor has the habit of discipline and patience and he know where his money is going. If a person has no patience and lack of discipline, he better look for get-rich-quick-schemes.T_T!

check this site out if you want graphical data with interactive parameters to analyze the mutual funds diri sa ato...and not just mutual funds, apil sad na ang mga UITF sa banks

    Monitor My Funds

Here is a sample comparison for balanced funds...just select the funds your are interested on the right side.
Or better yet, just select the fund you want to track on your left side and use the slider to tracks the performance a few years back.
Monitor My Funds - Balanced Funds

sa ako experience, investing for the long term is the way to go for Mutual Funds and much better if you use averaging para dili kaayo ka affected anang mga fluctuation sa NAVPS.

    I hope this help
