its the same as upgrading a car sa need for speed na game... u can reach the car's maximum potential by upgrades but as the game goes along you need to buy a new car with a higher value and higher performace ky ang karaan mo na sakyanan d na kaya mag compete with new stages na ang competitor mo mga class A na ang cars

simple as "a class C Honda Civic is not at par as a performance of a class A Ferrari"

if you are playing need for speed shift
are you still going to use your Honda Civic Tier 1 purchase na na max out na sa upgrades to compete sa Tier 4 and 5 competition?
of course dili na ky klaro na d na ka compete at later stages
u will end up buying a tier 4 or tier 5 na car that you could still upgrade and at still at par with the competition sa tier 4 / tier 5 stages

same thing with computers. you could max out the performance of a computer by upgrades and overclocking but there will really come a time you have to purchase a new one because the applications would require higher system requirements that could not be met by your older computer

if im going to install a photoshop CS4 sa karaan ko na pentium 4 it could still run but magkamang ako pag post process sa pics. layo ra kaau ang biya if i will post process my pics sa photoshop on a quad core setup. save's me time since paspas mag process.

same thing when i do video editing...

im not as techie as before. im more on the practical side now. if i remained to be a techie, i wont be earning a monthly net income of half of the lowest 6 digit figure.

bro pasagdi ni si erwin sa iya pagtuo, lahi man ni sya religion gud. kontento naman ni sya as "plug and play" system builder and inig human setup magproblema basolon daun ang product kai bati :P
imagina gud iya statement about sa game requirements, kontento na sya "basta mudagan" ang game. basin ok ra sa iya na gadagan ug 10-15 fps :P

nagkatawa ra ko samot sa iya mga statements. wala ka evolve. applications/games wala mag nid 2-cores? wala sya makakita advantage having 2-cores or more sa overall system performance. wala kaayo tig-gamit ug photoshop? i wonder unsa ra diay ka limited imo resources and knowledge building such systems for mission-critical purposes. try running lots of flash-based applications like games on facebook awon nato d ba mukamang imo pc on a single core pc. kani mga simple examples kai basin maghisgot ko mas technical na kaayo d nya makaapas imo stock knowledge basin mag-loading pa imo single-core brain.

i dont play games in facebook but my clients do. if walay reklamo akong mga clients sa e2140, there no reason nga mo upgrade. usik2x lang ko sa kwarta unya ang income dili modako. if ever naa koy mission critical purposes, i wont settle for the 2nd best, the best gyud. bright lagi ka bro, pero mas swerti gihapon ko kay ni evolve akong career sa IT, wala na stagnant anang techie2x og new technology hardware. ingon man pod amo teacher sa una sa among skul did2 sa bukid sa talamban (dili san carlos) nga duha ray klase sa student sa among school, bright or gwapo. mas nalipay nuun ko nga dili ko bright hehehe.

naa pa diay... what i mean anang basta mo dagan kay kana pong playable. bahalag dili taas kaayo ang frame rates basta playable, mao ra man nang gipangita sa mga clients.
