Default Needs advice on which video card to buy

    I currently have a geforce 9500gt 1gb ddr3 pci-e.

I am asking for an advice on which video card I will be updating to.

The price range is from 4k-5k.

Im currently using these specs for my setup: (if this is necessary for the advice)
    MOBO: ASUS P5kpl-am se
    Procie: Intel e7500
    PSU: imaster pro sli 5000
By the way I am using this pc for gaming.

There might be a need to upgrade your psu if if you're expecting to upgrade to a higher card. A 9800GT fits your budget but consumes more power than the 9500GT.

hmmm im not updated with current prices or even whats available in our market locally... but i hope this table will help in your decision based on overall performance and nvida/ati comparisons:

Graphics Card Hierarchy Chart : Best Graphics Cards For The Money: August 2010

tom states that to notice any real difference, it has to be 3 tiers higher..

hmm.. honestly if mid/high na imo graphics card some psu may not be able to give enough power your entire system will need...

generally if using real-power psu, 400-500 watts would be good for single cards, mga 700watts for sli/xfire...
