It's like a torture device. It's can also be used as a murder weapon which leaves no evidence.

When Itachi wiped out the Uchiha clan, he still had to literally stick knives into them to kill them. I doubt he used that technique on all of them especially since the victims have to look into his eyes.

Its still a theory, yes. I've read this theory in most Naruto forums. Still, that theory has a lot of loopholes. One I just mentioned (previous post). We are talking of the Uchiha clan here. Sharingan users, no less. What Itachi knows, they know. His only advantage is the Mangenkyo (and whatever jutsus you can do with it).

That Sharingan technique isn't a big problem as long as you don't look into his eyes. Be like Gai. But even Gai would still have to watch out because Itachi is also good at spells and physical attacks. He's also good at dodging attacks plus all forms of genjutsu is practically useless on him.

Precisely. I would think that as what he wiped out is the Uchiha clan, many senior members would know how to evade the Magenkyo --- especially members of the Police force. They suspect Itachi killed his best bud, for crying out loud. They should be expecting he is already a Mangenyo user. Another loophole to the theory.

Not much of a theory for me. Though, what could I do with it? Nothing. Seems to me the manga point to that direction, which I have to buy coz I still like Naruto anyways, even with the loopholes.

I think you're thinking that everyone in the Uchiha Clan is a good fighter?

The Academy, for instance, has a high failure rate when it comes to picking Genins. Then... look at the Chuunin Exams. :8O: Only Shikamaru passed for that one exam period.

Kinoha (Village of the Leaf) is a ninja village but only a small portion of the population are actually ninjas. They have a lot of civilians in there.

Same with the Uchiha Clan, only a small number of them are Sharingan users. If a lot of people had that talent, it wouldn't be significant. It's valuable because so few people have it.

Also with the Hyuuga Clan, the potential of Blood Limit users is rare even amongst bloodline families. It appears that only the heads or leaders of the family possess it. This is why I think the Lightning Nins wanted Hinata's dad in particular.

If just any Hyuuga had the Blood Limit... why bother going after the heads?

Then, there's Haku's clan or family. If you're unfamiliar with Haku, he's the boy who accompanies Zabuza. Haku has a ice/water-based bloodline limit.

For some strange reason, his clan was wiped out by nins who don't have bloodline limits. Note that the reason why his clan was massacred was because the other (none bloodline limit) nins was afraid of nins with bloodline limits. (Yeah... I know... very stupid of the Mist Nins).

If every nin in a clan with bloodline limits can use their bloodline limits, why was Haku's clan destroyed by nins without bloodline limits.

Again, this why I think not everyone in a clan with bloodline limits can use their bloodline limits. Within a clan, there are only a few special individuals who in fact possess or can use bloodline limits.

I think all Uchiha or Hyuuga has the potential to develop the Sharingan or Byakugan Bloodline Limits but few actually develop or master their family's Bloodline Limits.

The potential for Bloodline Limits appears to be concentrated in a few members. Perhaps the ones with the purest bloodlines or just luck.

(shakes head) You're too quick to assign loopholes. It's not as if I haven't thought it through.

Please note that the Leaf Nins are not as extreme as the other villages.

*That* Sharingan technique is forbidden, in my opinion. A Kin-Justu. It's because you have to kill someone very dear to acquire it. Because of the requirement to kill your best friend, (I think) *that* Sharingan Technique is forbidden amongst the Leaf Ninjas.

The Leaf Nins are not like the Mist Nins, for example.

The Mist Nins - they had to kill at least one of their classmates before graduating. They have since revised this graduation requirement after what Zabuza did.

The Leaf Nins, on the other hand, hold life very dearly. They consider their village as their family. Take Iruka, for example. He's the teacher with a slash across the bridge of his nose.

Iruka, a Chuunin, went up against the decision of 3 Jounins (his superiors) to let their teams (Iruka's former students) take part in the Chuunin Exam.

In a way, the Leaf Nins are a bit soft especially if you compare them to the Mist, Sand and Sound Nins. Even the Lightning Nins sound bad when you compare them to the Leafs.

Because of the above, I doubt a lot of the Uchiha Clan ninjas know *that* particular technique. Itachi is probably the only one in a very long time who has acquired it.

We're also talking about Itachi here. He's a prodigy. Graduated early, used the Sharingan early, became the Head of the Anbu early. Even without *that* technique, he's already a better ninja than most of his elders.

There are some Naruto fans who have even theorized that Academy required students to graduate at Age 12 and not before 12 after Itachi massacred his clan. Perhaps they decided that there was too much pressure for a child to become a Genin at Age 8.

I've only ordered a few Naruto books though. Everytime I order a whole set of manga, I regret the purchase because I'm all of a sudden more interested in another series.

Oh yeah. I just saw the latest eps. Finally saw the new ending. The four girls are (very likely) to be Sakura, Ten-Ten, Ino and Hinata.

Sakura - pink hair
Ten-Ten - long black hair in pig tails. We don't get to see her much. She's Neji Hyuuga and Rock Lee's teammate.
Ino - short blonde hair (both she and Sakura cut their hair during the Chuunin exam)
Hinata - easy to see it's her.
