Unsa ni? sour graping. You should also include in the blame list presidents that comes before her too: Erap, Ramos, & Cory. But, enough with that. The problem at hand is that the country's police force failed to carry out its duty in a hostage situation.

it can be blamed to the president bro..

as the most powerful man sa pilipinas, he can safeguard the safety. he can do anything just to solve it in a peaceful stand-off..

    COMMAND RESPONSIBILITY. kana ra..

as training the army and police to handle this kind of situation can not be done and ripened in just 60days!

it takes years to have a real situation ready forces..

nevermind the eggheads hu compare him to previous presidents..

AS ALL PREVIOUS PRESIDENT can be blamed also for not upgrading the readiness status of the NCR police..

saun man ..kurakot. hambog ray ayo. maayo nga mangutong..

nya unsa na man ni mga bugero nga sge ingon nga kaya ra?

from the start the man has no intention to kill anyone... really it was a mistake on the part of the police force.. i hope they could get some more training on human behavior... they knew that there were under the watchful eye of the media and hostage taker knew what is going on outside.. it was thoughtless of them to act such way against mendoza's family...which triggered the hurementado act...

well its a sad end indeed..

i agree... ana jud na bro, most sentiments here happen to be products of diappointments because noynoy won the election and not their candidate. it is clear.

what happen yesterday is a by product of incompetency accumulated over years of corrupt and messed-up government. the hostage taker was disgruntled of a case that happen in the previous administrations time. if ang hostages were local, would we react this way? i believe not. i didnt vote for noynoy but why blame him for what happened? we may not hear him talking about the incident but im sure he must have given directives to look into the matter.

did presidents of some other countries did the negotiations when things like this happens? no. but they have given directives, made proper channeling... if noynoy opened his mouth yesterday, it wont do anything, maybe agrreviate the sitaution more. mr mendoza was angry and that ombudsman, in return he was given somepapers and the assurance that the ombudsman will review the case personnally but does it made mr mendoza calm? no.

at this point of time, the only thing that matters in mr mendoza's mind was his family. but sad thing, the police drag them out of their house and made them accomplices instead especially his brother, not a good move! i wonder what does the person incharge tought when he gave orders to arrest his family?

bottomline: not because we happened to experience crisis, should we blame the president. there are other people and department who are best to handle the situation, and we should look up to them.

just my 2 cents. no arguement needed

    COMMAND RESPONSIBILITY.

Command responsibility - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The "Yamashita standard" is based upon the precedent set by the United States Supreme Court in the case of Japanese General Tomoyuki Yamashita. He was prosecuted in 1945, in a still controversial trial, for atrocities committed by troops under his command in the Philippines. Yamashita was charged with "unlawfully disregarding and failing to discharge his duty as a commander to control the acts of members of his command by permitting them to commit war crimes."[7][8]

It holds that a commanding officer, being aware of a human rights violation or a war crime, will be held criminally liable when he does not take action

    P'Noy : Failed!

All Previous President : corruptly Failed!

NCR Command PNP : EPIC FAILED!

    lets Move on !

SWAT : training Upgrade with NYPD SWAT | GERMAN GSG9 | Israeli Yamam

    ARMY : US ARMY Delta

    comment ra:

naa bai psychiatric training ag SWAT? i mean if they are really trained well maybe this aspect will work in a delicate hostage crisis such as this one...

on the other side pod [ako lang opinion] i understand why late Mendoza went berserk because he was sacked with more pressure [e.g. his relatives were arrested... duh... nagpaka.saun rag mga police da] they didnt even reached a compromising point... ahat ramag pangdamay pud sa mga relatives [kung feel nila nga weakness na ni Mendoza but i think it made him do things over the hedge]

kai naka.notice ko sa mga movies [hollywood cla] nga usually ag mga hostage taker ug ang police kai mag meet ug compromising point...
