Here's a proposal to all PLDT subscribers out there. I'm not sure if some of you have read of that story about forcing oil companies to lower the prices of gasoline by patronizing a certain oil company(the under dog). Here, let's patronize GLOBE(the smaller player) and force PLDT to straighten out their customer service. Let's all switch to GLOBE. If pldt does not hit its revenue target(because we will now switch to GLOBE), for sure they will evaluate what went wrong. And eventually they will realize that they have a really really poor customer service. They can't bring their rates any lower, as it will only hurt their revenue stream more(same reason why they can't match GLOBE's one-country-one-rate offer until now). So instead of lowering their rates, they will now focus on something that won't reduce their revenue but will add more subscribers and, thus, improve revenue stream. They will now focus on delivering a better customer service. Wudya say guys?
