Asa man diay isalig bro? Adto sa presidente? Basta presidente diay ka, ikaw diay modecide pati sa tactical operations? You have people that knew better how to handle the situation. What you do is process the situation, assess it, let your field commander handle it... Kinsa man konong presidenteha sa kalibutan ang nangunay ug orchestrate sa samang situation? sultihi ko bro, para magdungan ta ug criticize ni PNOY... I don't like PNOY but blaming the president for that kind of situation is the dumbest thing I've heard!

Yes, commander in chief na cya, but it doesn't mean he has to decide everything... Grow up!!! and don't be a jerk!!!!

but as president he could have done a lot.. 1) nagpada og additonal police to secure the area, wla man gani to ma cordon og tarong ni abot nalang gabii, unya naa pai naigo na usisero.. & after naa nay crowd control, send the best of PNP or AFP, naa bitaw ang camp crame og aguinaldo sa manila.. pra ang elite teams & negotiators mao ray tua sa sud unya ang regular police maoy crowd control
    2) impose a media blackout until the crisis is over, or at least hangyo sa media na dili mo hatag og live coverage, kay advantageous na sa hostage taker
    3) he should have been at the helm of this matter, kay international incident man.. unya ngano wla man gi issue na statement ang malacanang.. gikan udto hangtud gabii?? kay pra dawat limpyo ra siya?? pra kung successful ang negotiations hatag ra cya award, unya kung magkayagaw, naay ra cya i-footbol na mga tawo (ala pagasa)?? when chechen rebels made a hostage situation did2 sa usa ka moviehouse sa russia, ang president mismo nila ni-issue dayon og statement na dili sila maki-negotiate, & then they made an assault, some hostages were killed & all hostage takers were killed.. ing ana ka simple pag dawat sa responsibility did2 sa ilaha leader.. asa commander in chief, naa unta nay access si noynoy sa the best teams sa PNP & AFP, unya mao unta to iya gi pada.. sa ingon pa ni bruce willis sa salida na 'tears of the sun' - "cowboy the f@ck up".. mao nay angay himuon unta ni noynoy.. grow some balls to face responsibilities & make decisions..

The president of the Philippines is all knowing and could have ended the crisis in a better way. Sad to say he's also a cowardice person.

Maybe Gibo, Manny Villar, Erap, Gordon, Bro. Eddie, Jamby, Perlas, and delos Reyes could have done it better. If not of PNOY, it [hostage crisis] could have had a "and-they-lived-happily-ever-after" ending

Or maybe its stockholm syndrome. I cant believe people sympathize with this guy. He's obviously a criminal minded nutjob. The police were incompetent but this guy was also a police so he should have known how fellow idiots would handle the situation badly..

ang problema ra ba adtong Mendoza kay nag-originate sa mga ranking officers above niya,
