Hi everyone,

Just want to ask kinsa naa experience about sa I-gate? unsa nga equipments kinahanglan? or uban pa na dapat kinanghalan namo para sa I-gate. We are planning to get one for our company pero wala ko experience about ani. Help mga bro. Thanks in advance.

it is a direct line from CPE to telco i-gate facility. the lowest nowadays is E1 connection. most bpo are using 45mbps.
when it is direct, it is really direct to i-gate facility, no more aggregation devices in betweens.
at CPE they install modems or any transport equipment as interface to CPE router.
at igate, it will be connected to one of its routers' sub-interfaces.
in between is mapping of the circuit on its transport network to link the circuit end-to-end.

be sure to configure sub-interface and vlan tagging in the router/firewall

Medyo clear na gamay ang idea nako ani nga setup. So far on the technical side mao ni akong nhibaw.an nga setup.

pldt modem ---> router

modem to router interface is v.35.

my question now is v.35 lang ba option nato nato nga interface?
unsa nga router ang best gamiton?
mo support ba taga PLDT sa pagsetup sa configuration ani?
