i would say go for it. it is best to do it now while your kid kay wla pang ka muwang muwang. but be sure he is in good hands. take it from me

i grew up with my mom(together with my dad) abroad when i was a kid. SO, im so used being with her
but when i came of age to go to school, 6yrs old, nibalik mi dri sa pinas.

im pretty sure my mom felt the way you do and thats prolly the reason why she left me when i was 9.
nibalik sya abroad to work kay nindot man iya offer... she was a high ranking nurse at Al Khoums General Hospital in Tripoli, Libya way back 1993~2002. she left kay she got tired doing nothing but standby sa iyang office, paid to do almost nothing. To the point na gibawalan sya mu assist sa uban wards kay dli daw na nya trabaho, office ra jud daw sya (daghan man gud suya-on nga europeans)

anyway, because i grew up away from my mom (mama's boi ko - only son of 3 kids)
i grew hatred and it is still within me. whenever we have arguements, ma pull-out jud nako na nga fact nga she was never there. sometimes, i'd even argue, I DONT NEED THE MONEY YOU GENERATE. I NEED THE LOVE WITH YOUR PRESENCE.

now that im working and living independently, karon pa nako na realized what she was thinking. but it doesnt justify the fact that i lost time growing up without her. I love my mom. it may sound selfish but I really do. How I wish I didnt grew up like this. I basically lived on my own when i came here in cebu for college. I started as financially dependent because I generally grew that way... she left me with nothing but money to spend... I am living a life WITHOUT the need of going home... the word "MINGAW" is never instilled in me... wla na sya sa ako vocabulary. Its sad to think about it. but thats how i grew up...

mkasabot ko sa "productivity" nga imo pasabot kay im already working
so GO!! do it while you can... and when the time is right, bring him with you.
trust me, sabta tawon ako naagi-an... ayaw bya-i imo anak while nsa most crucial/most memorable developmental stage,
