    2 ka GPU

1 Video Card = 100 watts kung i OC pa gyud labaw pana

    motherboard

    fans na tig 20 watts

    CD

    DVD

    HD

    suga suga pa

kanang PSU na 500 watts kay ng ingon rana na ang maximum load na makaya niya is 500

meaning pwde raka maka gamit or maka on sa imo PC kung 500 below imo used power

Li pud muabot ug 20 watts ang fan oi, somewhere between 5-10 watts even lower depende unsa nga led ang gamit, kadto mga non-led probably below 5 watts.

The electric consumption of an appliance depends on its wattage rating and on how much use it is given. To estimate an appliance's electric consumption, divide the wattage rating by 1,000 and you get that unit's kilowatthour consumption for one hour of use.

Kung magamit gyud nimo ang 500 watts kay puno imo system unit , like crossfire/SLI, cge divide ug 1000
    so you get 0.5kwh..

this and that expensive power supply when ur just using basic to average components sa desktop...

So mangutana ko karon ninyo guys, What's wrong with the Generic ATX 500 watt supply?

If it really is not giving that true rated power then okay ra guru na cya for a basic to

average component sa desktop...what you think guys...

the problem with generic psu is that you don't know what components they are using. It is important to know that if a psu fails, it usually takes the components hooked up with it.... if u are going to buy a generic psu, you have to accept that chance. There are instances of psu exploding , mind you.

High quality branded psu on the other hand have higher quality components such as long life japanese capacitors meaning they last longer. The provide cleaner power (transient and steady-state) to your components which prolongs the lifespan of those components as well. They are also more efficient in producing power meaning your off the wall power usage is gonna be close to the tdp of your components.

The reason why PSU (which is a switching power supply) manufacturer commercialize 1000W units is for those enthusiast who are concern with the efficiency sa mga PSU karon...

A rule of thumb regarding sa selection of PSU is to choose a PSU rating which has twice of what you really need.

For example, if your system needs 500w of power you are ought to buy a 1000w PSU. Reason for this is that the maximum efficiency you can draw out from any PSU is at around 40%-60% of its rated power. Think of it as having a sinusoidal wave characteristic sa iya efficiency curve. peak value is at 40-60 percent.

"...it is recommended that you buy a power supply with double the power you are actually going to pull. This explains the offer of high-wattage power supplies above 700 W. Manufacturers don’t expect you to pull the full power from their units, but that you operate them around 50% load for a higher efficiency... The only disadvantage to this approach is the price of a higher wattage unit. But at the long run it is a good idea, as you will save money on your electricity bill, your computer will run cooler, you have enough headroom for a future upgrade and you won’t face any stability problems when playing games at their maximum quality for hours."
