Yeah. A bit. That's way Orochimaru is going after Sasuke instead. Wanted Itachi's body but Itachi is too strong for him.

most definitely, itachi is a loose cannon and it would take quite a bit of muscle to control him. that is why I think those guys (members of itachi's posse) are really strong people.maybe even stronger than the legendary sannins?

The following is just a theory.


Itachi is very very dangerous but he's a careful fighter who knows his limits. At the time he refused to fight with Jiraiya, he was still tired from using *that* Sharingan technique on Kakashi.

*That* Sharingan technique is a double-edged sword. If Kakashi was stuck for ?? days being tortured in his mind, Itachi was also stuck for ?? day being the torturer in his mind. It would be tiring even if all he did was poke at Kakashi.

Then, you also have to think about how much energy it takes to use *that* technique. It's like an ultimate genjutsu (hallucination technique). Takes a lot of concentration.

Kisame - that Shark-nin - also kept telling Itachi to be careful when using *that* Sharingan technique.

Itachi is a really dangerous guy. And I also agree with yen that he is a careful fighter. As we all know Itachi is really a talented guy. Imagine that he graduated in the academy at age 7 and able to master the sharingan at 8 and turned out to be the anbu squad leader at the age of 13. I haven't heard any other character in the leafs which posseses the skill and intellect Itachi has.

@warfab_anime: good question! i even thought that the pig is her summoning animal... imagine, frog vs. snake vs. PIG! LOL

but i kinda like the Temari's summoning animal... cant exactly describe it but it was like a cat (?)... a muskat?... a weasel? ... anybody can clear this up?

@yen: i think he was stuck with a sword for 3 days, in one second of the real time.
