get either of the two which is cheaper. don't worry much by those sharp center to edge issues. it can be treated and youll find more concern on making your landscape beautiful than worrying from those sharp focal points in the frame as you shall get along with the learning.

@waryu69, kana imo 10-20 and sigma na kai wa mai 10-20 ang tamron. ga libog ko kung tamron 10-24 or sigma 10-20. mas kusog ang tamron kai 3.4-4.5 pero soft kuno sa edge. sa 10-18 klaro cya labi na sa center. and sigma sa mid zoom dili ka ayu sharp pero sa both ends sharp cya.

It's a fact nga hinay mo-focus ang tamron, but who needs fast focusing lens when shooting landscape dba?

sigma with its hsm motor will focus faster but im using a sony alpha and in this case it will still use the focus motor in the body. so with regards to focus speed id say they should be about even.

regarding sigma lens. from what i have read in the internet. many complain about front/back focus problem with the sigma lens. how true is this here?
