need help on laptop probelm

my brother's toshiba satellite A100 laptop won't charge anymore. battery has been replaced like this year lang. he have it checked by toshiba service center and diretso raman ingon ang technician na replace daw ang mobo! any suggestions?

mobo jud na bro... dili man gud na cla mo repair ug mobo...
guess lng nko kay bloated capacitor na sya...
a certified board repairman can do that!

Ngano? cause d man na sila mo repair ug mobo. ngano pa jud? cause ang charge controller naa sa mobo. If naay mo repair jud ug board ma repair rah jud ni. kasagaran ani kay naa man ni fuse resistor basin na open lng. ipa check lang na sa mga board repair jud.

i do agree on this... a known good battery still does not work so obviously it has to do with the motherboard

Try using a known good AC adapter and if that wouldn't work there is a problem with the mobo... you can remove the battery while you try to charge it...
