I doubt it works, for all you know your actually wasting money on the device and end up consuming more fuel.. its the same trick with electricity saving devices.

nah doesnt work. proper car maintenance and good driving habits will save you gas. no jack rabbit starts, excessive idling, stay under 2.5k rpm @1st gear, anticipate braking, hard braking uses more fuel etc.
