this could be a heat issue...however, i'm also seeing that your using vista with only 1.5gb of ram, might i suggest you switch to winXP and see if the problem is still there

although not as buggy as before due to updates, vista is still known to consume a lot of resources from your pc...you're better off with winXP or win 7
