I don't see the USA as a culprit on our present situation,

In fact, if not for US, I might not have a satisfactory job right now... that goes to all of us working in an american company..

The blacksheeps in our society is our corrupt politician and corrupt government system.... Yep, Marcos could have been a great leader, I admire his intelligence and skills, but the problem of Marcos was probably Imelda... she inspired her to ROB the country...

Women can either led to a man's success or his downfalls....

I dont think Imelda inspired Marcos to do evil. Even before Imelda came to his life, he was already a convicted killer. He killed his father's opponent for Mayor in his town. Evil na siya before pa and Imelda has nothing to do with his corrupt practices. Though Imelda is a very strong woman.

Look again... both of them are corrupt and evil. If Imelda was/is a decent and righteous woman, how come she had a collection of extravagant shoes worth millions, instead she could have given those money to our poor countrymen...

Or about her project on the Philippine Cultural Center, where because the construction was on the rush, the actual curing period/time of the structure was not followed, thus the building collapsed. What did she do? Instead of digging the bodies of the construction workers, she ordered the contractors to continue the construction and just buried the bodies at the site... Creepy right?

Etc... etc.. etc... Whether Ferdie may or may have not been influenced by Imelda on growing his horns and tail, She is still not regarded as a candidate for sainthood...

Yes... Before Ferdie became president, or even senator, before he became a lawyer.. he killed his father's political oponent.. (I forgot the name 'coz at dat tym nagbitay pako sa itlog sa ako tatay).. He was imprisoned, and while in prison he reviewed for the Bar Exam... amidst being in prison, he passed and topped the Exam... Then as a lawyer, he defended himseld on the case, and was acquitted...

It is not true, infact, USA is very helpful to third world countries like Philippines. Poeple in US are very professional and humane, it just happen that they have broad thinking in the future that makes them role the world. USA is a good leader, what they did for over 100 years was right. We are independent to show to the world our potentiality like them, yet sometimes, our culture, our way of thinking, our decisions, our attitudes make us stuck. We need world leaders like US.

..i just don't understand why people keep on pushing their opinion about US screwing third world countries like the Philippines.. in a sense, maybe they did but probably not in a way that could bring the Philippines down to a level where the country is dependent solely on US power..

if you guys come to think of it, the fact that Philippines is an allied of the US is a very BIG thing.. close relations between countries are important in terms of economic progress, etc..
