    could anyone here explain as to where these letter combinations, este words, came from?

    Well, it depends upon what language or dialect you are referring to. In Spanish the word este is used as an adjective this (masculine). In the Visayan dialect the word este closely rhymes with a peculiar word that is often used during an argument. That WORD I cannot state here. Otherwise i might get an infarction. But I think you already know that don't you?
