macs do come with lots of free software but they are different than those in windows based systems. Even the way they interface is different compared to PCs. There are cracked versions of mac software out there pero mau lageh, quite harder to come by. i suggest ngita ka ug other mac enthusiasts and ask them where they get their cracked software if you go the mac route.
What you can do however is install dual OS. this is what my dad and sister did. My dad is really proficient in MAC OS though and doesnt use windows at all. my sis however uses the windows OS in her mac since she is not that savvy with Leopard. If you run windows on your mac machine, this should solve your cracked software woes![]()

oo nga nuh.. i always forget na you can do parallel os on mac.. cge.. mac it is..
pero diay, naa ba bearing ang processor? coz im using Core2duo karon, and ang vaio is i series na, nya mac is still core2duo.. would it matter ba? btw, i only use laptop for internet, office works and not so heavy games if naay time.. (ps. d nako gadula ug games sa fb k cgeg hang ako pc when i do, esp if cafe world.. =()
yea backward jud in terms ug hardware ang mac compared to pcs but their software is so smooth it doesnt really matter.... For your needs, a c2d is more than enough =]
just be aware macs suk at games lol. this has to do with poor or non-existent Directx support. from what i understand, mac is trying to remedy this especially with STEAM but they still have a long way to go. Blizzard seems to be among the few companies that support mac though... I don't know how well MACs play using parallels, bootcamp, vitual box, etc. to run windows though.
When it comes to macs, wala jud ko world lol.

layo ra kaayo ang mac compare sa vaio in terms sa imung g post nga link
vaio- 4gigs ram 2gigs v ram
mac = 2gigs ram 256 mb v ram
pro office type man ka mac nalang
kung video editor or sound or gamer .. vaio nalang
dpende sa price kung mas barato vaio sa vaio ko sayang akong gbayad sa 256 nga v ram ug 2gigs ram
the RAM is upgradable tho so no worries. and for the application she uses, the performance isnt even an issue. ang ako lang consider jud ang portability. i lug around a regular 15" laptop na 5+ lbs. for constant mobility sakit jud...
the 2gig vram for the vaio is an integrated intel GMA HD while the 256md on the mac is dedicated. That is 2 different things which is common misconception.
if you want the vaio, i'd rather buy an asus with almost the same price with way better specs than the vaio.

for someone na walay world on mac, you sure know a lot! lol! =)
anyways, thanks jud sa input.. before i didn't understand the hype on mac jud.. i had that mentality pd na why pay more when you can get the same specs for less.. well, i've used windows ever since i learned how to use the computer.. so maybe this mac thing is a learning experience for me.. i might give it a try.. thanks ha.. =)
