from my experience...girls are more sensitive when their own welfare is of concern.... they would brand a guy insensitive when the guy fails to fulfill certain needs for the girl without due regard with situation the guy is in... girls are very insensitive to the guy's overall situation, only considering things that which would make her happy, satisfying only her needs... good enough, they admitted their selfishness...
