from globe to pldt to globe again!

I actually switched to pldt for the 3k deal where you get a free pc. Signed the right documents, passed it to their service center and the service guy promised the delivery of the pc in a few weeks.

It's been 5 months and there's still no pc. When I called them, they said something about "Kutob raman to atong July". LOSLOS.

I switched back to globe where their previous P1,999 per month bill for a 384kbps connection was lowered to P1k! Now I'm pretty happy I'm saving 2k a month. Buang2x pud ni ang pldt. Mga bakakon. I didn't pay the last pldt bill.

these people are monopolizing broadband service but wait till the market becomes more spread out...we will turn to other broadband providers soon

Mao gyud. Eventually mubarato na gyud ang price sa basic 384kbps. Liman ka gikan 2k na 1k nalang? Ang ganahan ta nako kanang 1Mbps nga connection ma 2k/month lang.

just try this one mga folks. As I have observed ang ip nga gigamit sa pldt dsl is changed if your on a router just try to take an ip locally starting from 192.168.10.xxx up. Kay basin nya mag conflict mao na dili mo ka connect.

im connected to 995 broadband sa globelines.. 2 months nko.. ok raman kaayu. although there was a time na dugay kaayu mi ka connect like an hour but eventually na ok raman. nice pud kaayu ila customer rep kai mu tabang gyud and mu explain tarung. no empty promises but, they say if naai gi ayu ila servers and all. Although its not as fast as the 1995 PLDT DSL but ok raman kaayu pud paspas rapud mu download ko og kanta. dili lng maayu magvideostreaming! hehe

PLDT mah achin' a$$...try this on for size...

i've been a subscriber for PLDT myDSL for a year now. Last July, We went to their office and offered us a two year contract. I personally didn't want that, but the b*tches from PLDT insisted. Anyway, we went along for the ride.

At first, everything was ok. Speed was good, the bill arrived on time. So far, so good. After a few months (January 2006), service started to suck. Speed couldn't reach as promised, the connection keeps on disconnecting from time to time, and the bill stopped being sent. I was thinking maybe they didn't give a damn anymore. So I didn't complain, so long as I didn't have to pay.

Suddenly, when July came, they stuck me with a bill of 16k. You expect me to pay that?! After the sucky service you've provided, you expect me to hand you PLDT SOBs 16 freakin' K?! Are you out of your freakin' minds. Well, if anyone from PLDT's reading this, I hope you burn.

murag ingon ana man sad ko sauna...after 3+ gloroius weeks pa jud mi natauran ug dsl sukad sa pagkataud sa amo phone ....
but before mi natauran ug phone...ni wait sad mi ug 1 week before nag ka dialtone ang amo phone...4 days sad mi nag huwat
sa installation sa phone.....is this what they call Bilis Kabit promo?? bilis kabit my arse!!!!
and before i forgot, ang delivery sad sa amo first bill kay nikabat sad ug 1 month and a half aya pa naka abot sa amo....way the go PLDT!!!!

wow grabe, binuang naman ning PLDT uy, ako na luoy, murag palakasay naman ang kailangan para ma tagaan ug customer service

actually ok raman ang PLDT DSL (based on my experience). I have been using this in my home and in the OFFICE PLDT gihapon mi... AT home 2 years nako nag DSL at the office 1year na.. okay ra baya...

PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED:

Home and Office Problem: Disconnects Sometimes like... 3 time in a month averageing 2 hours disonnection.

Office Problem: One time hinay kaayo ang connection... as in grabe gyud... pas2x pa ang dial up. But when the technicians arrived they said sa building wirings daw.. and they fixed it after 2 hours.


Now compared sa Globe DSL namo sa Office (We also have globe for backup)
= bay grabe.. embedded and trojans, worms, virus and uban pa sa ila connection! Inig connect dili mu hunong og pop up ang mga virus scanners namo og "Warning Backdoor TRojans Detected".

Gipaputol nalang gud namo after pila ka months kay mahulog og walay gamit.

if u accused Globe of having their Broadband viruses embeeded to it and among others.... hasta mi nang lupad nasad unta pareha nimo....

as what had Señor Jose mentioned.............. ---> Kung inig connect nimo naay trojan warning or virus upload or download it means infected na daan imo computer, not because of Globe. Mao gyud na primary complain sa mga ISP pero kung huna-hunaon nimo igo ra man na sila mo hatag ug connection, ikaw na may bahala kung unsa imo i-visit na site or i-download na mga files.
