when i was still a nursing student, i opted to be assigned to the regular platoon instead with the medic corps coz i believe it is there that i will find the true life and discipline of a cadet. and im glad i did coz it has given me the discipline and fortitude that i have now.

i believe that it is timely that the ROTC training will have to be revived to foster the long taken for granted value of nationalism and the love of country. other countries automatically drafts those 18 yr old to the military because they feel that this is a moral obligation and responsibility. dapat the same thing should happen here. our constitution mandates this. if there are imperfections in the ROTC system, these are isolated issues and should never be used to generalize the entire organization..

nindot na ebalik ang ROTC pero dapat unang disiplinahon kanang mga military ug official nga magdumala. kay mga corrupt kaayo na sila ug huna2x, angay padad on anang ROTC sa eskwelahan kanang mga bag ong graduate sa PMA, tan awon nato dili ba na matarung. at least idealistic pa na sila dili pareha anang nangaraan nga military or reservist nga hemuon lang ug gatasan ang mga kadete.

usa pa para maenganyo ang mga estudyante ug enrol sa ROTC, dili lang sige ug martsa sa init unya kupot ug pusil nga kahoy. unya balegyaan dayon ug siopao ug sparkle nga doble or triple ang presyo. ang maayo tudloan jud ang kadete ug gamit sa tinuod nga pusil dili lang puro tan aw ug drawing sa libro ug cartolina.

Their goal is to teach all trainees problem solving, military discipline, systematic planning, proper ethics while developing leadership skills.

Mao gyud na pinaka-purpose bai but tungod lage sa daghan mga issues like unequality, corruption, abuse mao mura wala na naka-align sa purpose.
