naa ko phenom II X2 555 BE..i got it early this year..i've read from reviews nga ma overclock xya up to 3.92GHZ..im not sure if maka abot ba ko ana.ako motherboard kay MSI K9N6PGM2-V2 raman gud..

any tips?

^^ pretty much if you will overclock it brad..some forum site naka overclock gani sila more than 4 gigahertz using the phenom 555 be..you will need a decent cpu cooler though para mo survive imo cpu..

for you to unlock the extra core of your 555 be you will need these two..first is the motherboard that is capable of acc (advanced clock calibration) for older boards or the so called ucc (unlock cpu core) on the latest boards..second is to pray that you will be one the lucky batch owner of the said processor..pretty much that's it brad..most newer boards nowadays just lets you hit a button while booting your os to unlock your extra cpu core for the black editions then booommm youre good to go..

in the case of your motherboard brad i dont think it has acc in it but if you have extra buck and want to try investing on a new board why not..pretty much we're here to help..^_^..

^^ i suggest you buy in tpc nlang brad of course sellers that has big ratings..200 man cguro pa ship 1day rana..at least from there you will have a chance of getting one..just look for a c3 revisions..kay kung diri ka palit good luck nlang jud..mangambot nlang ko..hehehe...

@wicked if you want a decent board you can go for asus..they're great in terms of unlocking..depende rajud sa imo budget brad..there are some lower end asus cost around 4k kapin cguro..naa sad tag 5 kapin..then those higher ends will prolly cost you more than 9k or so..go ahead and look for it in tpc brad..pretty much you can find what you will be looking from there..

of course with the acc or ucc feature para you wont problem in unlocking the extra core..

you don't need to do all those things if you want to purchase from verified sellers in tpc brad..i'm not really sure pod na all 555be's pod are c3 revisions kay i have seen in one forum na phenom x4 gani to murag c2 revision pa, correct me if i'm wrong..just to make sure lang brad ba..^_^..
