Got locked... it got controversial! "I can't help it!"

I posted about my frustration about some 'buy & sellers' .. na waste of time.
People who chime in sa personal buy and sell thread, and not have very positive input.
It got sold by the way... and for me to post that, was not intended to offend anyone.
I just said that I didn't understand what one person had said. I didn't know it was a sin on istorya to be frustrated and admit that you don't understand it.

I know a lot of people feel the same way too.

It got pretty controversial and I just noticed it now (Aug 03, 2010) . Then na-out of topic na, from my own not very correct grammar/imperfect choice of words (who does it perfect anyways?, when did I say I was ever perfect, my Tagalog, Bisaya and Spanish are as equally horrible!), to stereotypes of jobless people on istorya -these by the way were not the gist of my thread....

Wow, that must be painful! I guess, danhan nasakit. Target maybe ayu ko.

But hey, those are pretty amazing things that people say. I am very surprised. Nothing of it I would say any different. And no, thanks for the concern of some people, I do not take views from people I haven't met personally. Trust me, I have met so many gfriends through the internet that were so opposite and are much charming in person than what has been portrayed online. You'd be surprised how many people portray themselves so differently online than who they really are. Cool people online, are sometimes very opposite in person and vice versa. But for me, I just do not get what's the whole purpose of that at all. Say what you need to say, you are welcome to be in favor or against. But don't feel cool just because.... Cool or uncool, people will see through it.

Bullying and mis-understanding are a daily thing, if you can't handle it in real world and can't take any criticism, your life will get pretty miserable. I LOVE IT when people chime in..... good or bad, I appreciate people that take their time.

Amazing views from people. To start with, I was only expressing my frustration.
I know a lot of people here feel the same (either buying or selling) - incomplete details, yadah yadah, yadah....


I didn't udnerstand why it was locked... bring it on.
I just wished people would have chimed in within the common idea or realm of the original thread I posted.

To those who felt for me, no worries ladies and gentlemen.... like I said, bad or good rebuttals against or for my favor ----- it won't hurt me. It's just the internet people!

(for people who won't have anything else to do for the next working hours--opps 'no such thing as working hours' for some people), please feel free to re-compose my way of writing -though, I won't appreciate it. I am Filipino and other language not ordinary to my own are meant to be the way it is - 'my personality' -but at least I take pride in making sure I am crystal clear and I say exactly when I don't get it.) All my words are written by me, from me, just the way I would say things if we are to talk face to face. It'll be nice if people would read everything and not just tiny bits, it seems like the norm thus, people sway out of topic, and then it gets locked (obviously that's when people violate some rules). However, I encourage everyone to chime in. Someone may bite back at you, that's when the fun begins!!!

imho, ang imong post before was way too below the belt for some people here in istorya..mismo ako, g hilasan dyud atu, ako dyud g pangita ang imo post sa buy and sell, and bang..na frustrate ka sa comment sa usa ka istoryan...ok ra mn mo express ka sa imong frustration sa usa ka istoryan ,pero ayaw lang idamay ang uban, kinda generalized man gud tu. anyways, enjoy life..

i think the reason why your thread was closed by the mods is for your protection raman guro sis para u will not receive many bad comments and to avoid conflict, because the mods understood y u posted such thread...

ive read some post dd2 sa imong buy and sell thread by some istoryans na maka irita jud nuon sa seller, nakasabot ko why na irita ka kay i experienced the same thing when i was selling something here in istorya na irita pud ko with some comments na nonsense na kaau...

you should have posted a link ta ato imong buy and sell thread to back up, why you posted such "controversial" thread...

I didn't understand why it was 'locked' or 'closed'.
I mean, I don't mind the harsh comments.
I was told, people were out na sa 'topic' and that I was personally attacked and not the idea which apparently are against the forum rule.
People are entitled to whatever opinions they may have, in or out of context, pro or against my own.

I make my own assumption when I meet the person (face to face). A lot of these people would not want to meet in person.

I am member of 1 or 2 forums (my local area) and most people get excited to actually meet the people behind the ideas and absurdities.

It's the internet world. People will react with every bit of your sentence...or idea. And, for strangers like us, human nature to tend to react on the more crabbing side than turning the tables into positive or at least making sense. And even face to face dealings and exchange of views, there will be conflicts and different people have different ways of showing it. I guess, I do exert my feelings and opinions more abruptly than the usual.

I do seek for both compliments and critism ... I get both and appreciate both equally.

There were quite a few input that I took as constructive critisms.

It's the internet and new to a forum like this (much much bigger). Just like dealing with someone face to face, things can get hit up, contradictions, emotions rise up, to your face, THOSE I TOLERATE MORE. I think everyone is used to that by now. (the more you meet different kinds of people, the more your realize quite odd things about people)

But it's the internet.... and it sure is weird. Some people here are weird and I am sure quite a few think of me just as absurd as I think of them. It's AMAZING to me when someone (and I have noticed this many times here) post something or an idea, and then people start to add something different and then on and on and on...

I don't believe in forum rules (I don't like rules in general) but if members are like that, can't stay on a topic or sole purpose is to be negative and pick on others and bully..... I guess, I do get it why there is need for such rules.

I realized, posting this part makes my score go up higher I like that!

Some people here write their views so easily understood. Some are so out there, none of it I could understand.

Why do people write like they've never gotten to 5th grade? Even writing in Visayan, it's the same. Not even an effort to create an easily understood sentence.

Do our teachers in "writing" class really suck over there in Philippines?

It's hard to be not judgmental but is it fair to say that these people who write "scattered brain style" are jobless and are "unemployable"?

Or is it just the seeming norm here on istorya.net because most people here are jobless? Hence, people that can't write proper?

there are a lot more non offensive ways to express ur views and opinions...those red bold sentences are simply sarcastic and annoying...u sound as if ur so good with english but how come u dont seem to know how to manipulate or atleast play with ur words to make it sound a little more polite...and ur wondering why people are attacking u??u wer the first one who posted such insulting remarks...besides, i dont think the people here are attacking u, we just reacted to ur post...and just bcoz a few people cannot comprehend or understand immediately what you are trying to say doesnt give u the luxury to make generalizations and throw other people's failure to the teachers, people from this site, etc...we understand ur frustrations about the thread(buy & sell) but u shudve limit ur furiosity to that and not go beyond branching to other people who has nothing to do with it...makes me wonder wat kind of job u got there in seattle coz somehow ure giving us the idea that u are unprofessional with the way you convey ur messages... with everything we read, u seemed like u are bragging about ur stature in life as if ure too high and the others are too low...come on!!dont be such a pea-brain...
