Cebuano-speakers are superior in number (Visayas-Mindanao) compared to Tagalog-speakers (Luzon only), but what can we do with Imperial Manila?

given that there are many Bisaya-speaking Pinoys, should we give way to Bisaya being the national language?
or should we continue with Tagalog?

    post your opinions..
its filipino sir not tagalog. tagalog is a dialect in the southern luzon region. but for me i think it should be bisaya.

there's a big difference between speaking and understanding. don't just think of visayas and mindanao, luzon is a also a part of the Phil. and there's more people in luzon compared to visayas and mindanao. and i've been to most of the places in visayas and mindanao and tagalog is still the best way to communicate. it's just a plus if you know how to speak visayan and hiligaynon. i tried to learn most of the dialects when i travel and based on my experience nothing beats knowing tagalog.

Just imagine if magChange ta to bisaya perte dakua sa magasto sa depEd. One thing pud if bisaya na ato Nat'l language so tanan movies nato, bisaya na pud mura na CCTN.

Kung ako lang? Neither of the two........ I mean, if I go for Filipino (de facto of tagalog), I'll be favoring the native tagalogs living in the northern island. But if I go for Cebuano (Bisayang tunay), I'll be favoring the Cebuano natives on the central cluster of the archipelago so I would rather have English as a national language instead of having a language that in one way or another forgets one ethnic group for the other.
