At this speed, dapat smoother ang videos than my old PLDT na abot 1.28Mbps.

Solved this na in the other thread. Double thread naman diay SKY. But anyway:

Experiment with enabling/disabling Passive FTP in Internet Options>Advanced>Use Passive FTP

I disabled mine and downloads and videos improved immediately.

Yah. I noticed that. Even though speedtest.net shows skycable to be faster, video is in fact more choppy and downloads take longer.

Guess speedtest isn't that reliable.

yaw mo sign up sa sky broadband walay ayo.. naka transparent proxy ni sila .. akong torrent kay mga 10-20 kbps ra 1.5mb subscription sige pagyud ka down sila.. sige lang ko panawag pa reset sa ilang end.. hasol kayu walay week na dili ma down..bisan ok pa ang upstream and downstream margins nako.. 37.0 db down 1 to -2 upstream levels.. mag pa disconnect nako tomorrow bahala bayad kog 2k.
naa naman sad koy globe 3mb mas ok pa walay bandwidth capping sa torrent.

and way ayo sa online games taas kayu latency sa world of warcraft mga 900ms.. then sa ping test daghan time out way ayo.

i find it too expensive. at their prices ila nalang unta gi free ang cable subsciption sa tanan plans.

hinay jud au ako torrent...ako globe before nga 1mbps ky abot 100kb/s ang speed sa torrent...ako 1.5mbps sa sky ky swerte lang kung mu-abot ug 40kbps...naa moy matabang?
