Ive owned past and present breeds from ROTTWIELERS , LABRADORS , OLD ENGLISH SHEEPDOGS , SHIBA INU'S , GERMAN SHEPERDS , MALTESE , POMERANIAN , SHI TZUS , LHASA APSOS ... I can definitely speak in behalf of them regarding temperament , health , attitude , lifestyle etc but the moment mo speak ta in behalf sa breed that would be BIAS na .

Anyways ni kalma na man ang thread and probably everyone got already the TS point why the thread existed , this sould just move on being proactive and providing constructive cristicisms instead of destructive opinions .

By the way ... any chance naay naka buhi na ug HYBRID WOLF diri sa Cebu ? Local borns na ba or imported ? or it will nevr find its way here since di man ni sila ma papered unless ipalusot jud ?

personally i never said that all huskies in the world are like my huskies. owners here had always stretchout out that the temperament of the dog mostly depend on how dog owners take care and train their dogs. but on the other hand also we admit that dili pud na sila perfect they are still a dog.

Just a comment from the movie "Living with Wolves" i just saw yesterday, I noticed that the Dutchers were not treating the wolves as "pets." Although they assigned individual names to each, respectively... the wolves didn't even bother being called by names. I also noticed how they behave when they come closer to the pack. When they visit, they are there as though they're not there...not disrupting the ambiance, environment. It was them, humans, who made the effort to adapt to the wolves' behavior and not the other way around, or less likely.

Compared to the study made by Hungary scientists, as presented in BBC; the scientists' attempt to domesticate the wolves were to no avail, and ended up returning the wolves to their habitat.

In both cases, we can make the wolves as affectionate as the dogs. But wolves will always remain wolves. Are dogs a domesticated form of wolves? Studies have yet to make a conclusion as to the link between the two.

When I was a student, and my professor would expect us to answer an affirmative.. and yet I would give him a big "No," my answer would still get a good score compared to the expected "Yes" answer.

Whether you side either as an atheist or a theist, that really doesn't matter. What really matters is how you presented your ideas, how logical they are, etc. I really don't care what our answers here as long as they are sound, and shows gentleness like your huskies. I somehow doubt your description of your huskies as gentle is not the same as the ones in the dictionaries.

But as you see, there are some of us here whose answers are as rude as the most dangerous dogs. I think that explains well my point.

Again you can just simply say...if you own million huskies, "our huskies are very gentle." Kaysa mo ingon, "Pataka lang na sila, shame on them, ignorant... or unsa ba na nga gipanggamit nga word." You are attacking/barking a person and not the subject issue.

I really have a feeling that some of us here requires more domestication than wolves.

Sir think dili man cguro BIAS if e defend ang breed kay naa mi. Kinsa diay modefend sa ila kaugalingon ang dog/breed? Dba taw man sad ang nagsuwat anang mga list so taw sa sad ang makdefend base sa experiences kato dog owners. Unsa nato pagcorrect ang misconcepted na dog/breed if u would not correct it or dili ka motingog so meaning forever nga misconcepted ang dog kay wla gicorrect. Gihimo man na cguro ang list base sad sa experiences. So Y man maBIAS if ang experiences sad sa mga dog owners isulti.Think dili man cguro na BIAS

And by the way... there's no need to be defensive on biases. Everyone has a bias. The moment one starts to talk about something... he is already making a bias. Say, "She is pretty." That is already bias. The important thing is you know how to use and place your biases properly. There is always bias and we can never deny it.

heheh! btaw bai, mahadlok ko magbuhi ana coz ang akong mga iro, gina pet man gud sa mga tao.. and, i know nga ang chow, naa gyd times nga unpredictable siya. so mao na mahadlok ko makasala.. its better to be safe than sorry lang. ^^ also, di pud ko mo ingon nga expert ko sa doggies, in which, naa ra tawn ko sa average, or maybe beginner pa gani ko.. ^^
one more thing about chows, naay book in ayala (fully booked, HEHE! FREE READING KO) ang chow2x mao'y DIRECT descendant gyd sa wolf. =) that explains y delikado siya. =)

hehehe...mao bai sakto2x, unpredictable bitaw sad ni ang chow especially ang male...naa gud diri usa sa cebu nga mobalibad jud ang shooter kung kana nga chow2x stud ang gamiton...mahadlok jud ang kasagaran shooter ana nga chow...i wud rather not mention d name sa chow2x lang.hehe...basta aggressive jud kuno siya kaayo.hehe...........fortunate lang siguro kaayo ko ani akong female chow kay pirti jud buotana, bisan unsaon pa nimo pag kumot.hehe...according to her groomer gud, siya ra kuno sa tanan diri cebu iya nasugatan nga pirti kabuotan...ang uban chow kay iya pa mn butangan elizabeth collar kay naa mn hints nga mo hambat,..kani ako bisan giunsa pa siya ug shave, bisan on her most sensitive part wala ra jud siya paki.hehehe..

Then later on ni ingon ang TS gusto niya mahibaloan ang Nature and Nurture Theory w/c wala niya gispecify sa iya first question then lisud sad since kay more of nurture theories amo mashare dili ang nature theory nila kay 1st place siberian husky here in Philippines wala sa natural habitat nila and 2nd sibes are not being used as unsa gyud purpose nila to be a working dog/sled dog since and sibes diri sa pinas gbreed as being a pet or for conformation so lisud au ecompare ang nature and nurture theory. Kay sa first and later questions personal experiences na iya ask to husky owners so personal experiences sad ang gitubag since the TS ask for personal experiences. ...... Then your asking if how dangerous? Is it dangerous bah mau na question? Maybe u had rephrase wat u ask if its true that this breed are dangerous to human and other dogs rather than generalizing that this breed to be dangerous.

And also I never said i wanted to know about nature/nurture theory. In fact i was the one introducing it; at least for us to have some gauge in looking at the temperaments and/or factors why such breed is such and such.

Okay ra sir. Hasta ang gahimo/gaconduct sa list gani ala may klaro nga explanation...although they maybe using numbers. But it's worth a try that we made some attempts in this thread as to how huskies have made it into the list, at least on our part. At least nagpaka bana gyud ta...
