if di na mogana ang hidden recovery option nimo then pwede ka mogamit og usb.. copy the installation disk to a folder anya run it.. do a clean install.. make sure to set yer bios to boot to a usb device.. if naa problem imo hdd... google for programs that will create a bootable usb for you.. daghan free ana... make sure you have a copy of all drivers and utilities before you do the clean install para di ka mahasol setup..

ahhh .. no prob ako HDD .. mybe e google lng nako ang V.C and motherbord ani.. ma DL ramn cgru ..

so ok ra if ang win xp sa DVD e transfer nako sa USB and shud use it to reformat? and set bios first to USB ?

you just have to reformat it. actually its still a regular drive, it only has a boot capability. if you fail to remove it on restart it will just boot up again on the usb.
