nvidia has the best driver support for linux, so mga nvidia-based graphics cards ang recommended.

yep nvidia gpu, even an old FX5500 is fully supported by it, have tried it on ubuntu os.

there's ati and S3 graphics but nvidia is the best in terms of driver support.

my old x1550 pr0 is supported by ubuntu....
