hi guys...i need help. anyone knows where I can go to upgrade my Android firmware from 1.5 to Android 2.1 (or maybe 2.2) in Cebu? Samsung currently doesn't seem to have any idea where because they referred me to Junrex office which evidently also does not do any of the android upgrades. I would appreciate any help...thanks peeps.

settings>system updates on your phone... it should be there, if there's an available upgrade of course. don't expect android 2.2 yet though

Depends on what your phone is and if its capable of andriod 2.1 or 2.2

If you're brave enough, try searching xda developers. People there have been porting 2.2 to different phones. Lots of risks involved though. But if you're happy with your phone's performance, just wait it out. Thrid party Android OS are quite good on their own already.

I have Samsung Galaxy Spica. There's no update option available in settings. I'm also using Windows 7 in my laptop and PC studio does not recognize the phone when plugged in....
