since the puppy is 1 month old there are medicines that cannot be used on it.please bring the pup to your vet for check up to determine if it is mites or it might be something else.

i do not recommend using the sprays till the dogs are about three months old....before then i recommend the best and still most effective way of removing the ticks...... by hand... and then drowning them in a bottle of water with a bit of bleach..... unless of course that the pup has so many ticks that its life may be in danger.... then i definitely recommend that you go to your vet to have the pup checked and for the recommendation of the best treatment for your pup.
