Is this even news?? This has been done since time immemorial... Since the time of Kings and Queens.... Two of the world's largest businesses are the Government and Church, its just natural for them to have some sort of "alliance" for each other's survival... Separation of Church and State is nothing but a "mere suggestion".

Not only do the Philippine Government gives money to the Catholic Church but to other various religious organizations too like El Shaddai, INC, etc....Money in exchange for support and influence... The Catholic Church is one of the biggest recepients of PAGCOR....

No matter how GMA apologists would put it, GMA is sending a "delivery boy" giving out envelopes with cash.

People know whats the meaning of that money and sorry to inform everyone that the people already knew it and already form their opinion about the giving. Its all over the news and nothing can be done about it.

Didnt we heard the likes of Nograles, Bunye and De Venecia telling us that the opposition should get 79 votes or else the complaint will be trashed. The CBCP sees that overwhelming partisans of GMA, who are conspiring to hide the truth, will no longer look at the substance of the complaint and just throw it again due to technicality.

Hiding the truth is not for genuine common good.

you're twisting facts..the CBCP is referring to the filing of impeachment articles per se, and the MOTIVE of the people behind such move. You can't simply erase the fact that Erap and the opposition/destabilizers are the persons behind the impeachment complaint.

And for what motive?..well for sure the CBCP is eyeing the angle of POWER GRABBING because ERAP is relentlessly crying out that he is still the president of the republic and that he was just forcibly removed from his throne. And he will do anything to get right back to power.
