dollar symbols on the screen, any advise?

when i turn on my computer the dollar symbols will appear on the screen and it will not continue to open the windows. but when am running in safe mode it will continue to boot up windows. i tried to update the video card drivers but its still the same. i can continue only to normal mode if i will uninstall the vga driver. any advise or anybody have tried this problem? i cant play any games anymore....please advise any solutions

my gaming rigs specs:
msi p45 mobo
9800gt 512mb ddr3
2x2gb gskill ddr2 memory
silverstone 600 watts PSU

murag vc jud na nga issue bro. naa bani integrated na video imo mobo? if naa bro, suwayi dw gamit. pero p45 murag wla mana integrtd video sa.

am trying to reset the vga card and clean the connector pins then re-install the driver and update the latest but its still doesnt work....if ever the video card is damage marepair pani cya nga klase nga problem cos i can still use it for browsing nalang w/out the driver...thANKS for both of you....

sir i think video card na issue... try another monitor if it is still the same then it is video card...

try nlng reinstall... or fix imo startup bacn naay corrupt na system files

bacin video card ni.... try sa reinstall windows bacin mada pa lang... or bacin corrupt driver ra ni...
